Anyone using information from this site to reserve an accommodation should call ahead to confirm the accommodation’s pet policy. Please keep in mind that the hosts, managers, and innkeepers are under no obligation to accept your pet. The management of each establishment featured on this site has welcomed pets in the past and has indicated that they will accept them in the future if they are well behaved.

Yet we cannot guarantee against last-minute changes of heart. Sometimes circumstances may prevent the welcoming of our furry friends. For example, the hotel may already have a few pets visiting, or may be hosting a special function that would make it impractical for staff to have your pet in residence.

Unfortunately, we also have encountered a number of establishments that have changed their pet policies due to a few bad experiences. To reduce the numbers of accommodations who are forced to change their policies, try to follow our guidelines on traveling with your pet. We also recommend that you notify the management that you are traveling with a pet and discuss their policies concerning pets before you arrive.
